Seller Protection

ReDrip Seller Protection

You keep 100% of your selling price · No listing fees · No selling commission

Effective Date: 24 August 2026 · Version 2.0

1. Who qualifies for Seller Protection

Seller Protection applies to sellers who meet the platform's account, verification and listing requirements and who comply with their obligations under these terms and policies.

2. Seller account requirements

Sellers must maintain an account in good standing, provide accurate information and complete required verification steps.

3. Accurate listing obligations

Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, genuine photographs and truthful condition information.

4. Product ownership

Sellers must be the lawful owner of, or otherwise have the right to sell, each listed item.

5. Authenticity

Sellers must sell only genuine items. Counterfeits and replicas are prohibited.

6. Prohibited goods

Sellers must not list prohibited, illegal or unsafe items.

7. Correct item condition

Sellers must state the item's condition truthfully using the platform's condition categories.

8. Seller proceeds

You keep 100% of your selling price. No listing fees. No selling commission. This describes how ReDrip calculates the seller's share. It does not make a seller immune from lawful reversals such as approved refunds, dispute outcomes, chargebacks or other lawful obligations.

9. Pending funds

Seller proceeds may remain pending while the transaction is being completed. Pending funds are not withdrawable.

10. When seller proceeds become available

Proceeds become available when the applicable completion and protection conditions are satisfied (for example delivery confirmed or the protection window expires without a qualifying dispute).

11. Shipping within 3 business days

Sellers must ship within 3 business days after verified payment. "Business days" currently excludes Saturday and Sunday. ReDrip does not automatically exclude South African public holidays unless and until that functionality is implemented.

12. Tracking and proof of shipment

Sellers should provide tracking and retain proof of shipment, which may be required as evidence in a dispute.

13. Packaging obligations

Sellers must package items appropriately to protect them during delivery.

14. Cooperation with courier processes

Sellers must cooperate with reasonable courier requirements and provide accurate fulfilment information.

15. Buyer disputes

If a buyer raises an eligible dispute, the seller will be given an opportunity to respond and provide evidence.

16. Seller evidence

Sellers should provide relevant evidence, such as photographs, tracking and communication records.

17. Payment holds during disputes

Seller proceeds may remain pending or be placed on hold while an eligible dispute is reviewed.

18. Seller-favour outcomes

Where evidence supports the seller, ReDrip may decide in the seller's favour and release proceeds according to the normal transaction completion process.

19. Buyer-favour outcomes

Where evidence supports the buyer, ReDrip may approve a refund or other resolution, which may reverse or adjust seller proceeds or balances.

20. Seller non-shipment

If a seller fails to ship within the required timeframe, ReDrip may cancel the order, process an eligible refund, and record the non-fulfilment for trust and account purposes.

21. Lost parcels

Lost parcels are handled through the platform's protection and dispute processes. ReDrip does not promise reimbursement to the seller unless such protection actually applies to the specific situation.

22. Damaged parcels

Damaged parcels are reviewed based on evidence, packaging and handling. Sellers who packaged appropriately and followed guidance may be protected from unfair claims.

23. Courier responsibility

Couriers are responsible for the physical delivery. ReDrip is not a courier and does not determine Buyer Protection outcomes on the courier's behalf.

24. Counterfeit or authenticity claims

Counterfeit or authenticity claims are investigated based on evidence. False claims may be decided in the seller's favour; genuine counterfeit listings are not protected.

25. Chargebacks

Where a chargeback affects a marketplace transaction, ReDrip may place funds or accounts under review. Seller proceeds may be reversed where lawfully required. Duplicate recovery is prohibited.

26. Fraudulent buyer activity

ReDrip takes fraudulent buyer activity seriously and may restrict accounts or reverse outcomes where fraud is established.

27. Account restrictions

ReDrip may warn users, remove listings, restrict features, hold payouts where authorised, investigate suspicious activity, suspend or terminate accounts, and preserve records, subject to fair operation and applicable law.

28. Payout holds

Payouts may be held where authorised (for example during disputes, fraud investigations or verification), in accordance with these terms and applicable law.

29. Off-platform transactions

Sellers must not attempt to move active marketplace transactions off-platform to avoid protections or fees. Off-platform payments are not protected.

30. Seller obligations under applicable law

Sellers remain responsible for their own legal obligations, including any tax obligations applicable to their sales.

31. Statutory rights savings

Nothing in this Seller Protection Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable South African law.
